Who controls your data
Pharoah Technology Ltd is the controller for the Pharaoh Vision Glasses browser companion and beta list. Contact info@pharoahtechnology.co.uk.
What happens when you use the app
- Colour correction and tap-to-name run in your browser. Those features do not upload camera frames.
- Read and Describe send one still frame only after you press the relevant button. The frame is processed to return the requested text or description and is not written to the product database.
- No account is required. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and includes no third-party analytics.
- Cloudflare processes normal connection and security logs when it serves the site.
Beta list
If you join beta updates, we collect your name, email address and any optional use-case note. We use them only to contact you about Pharaoh Vision Glasses. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
Service providers
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the site.
- Supabase stores consented beta-list submissions.
- Our secured AI routing providers, which may include OpenRouter and Anthropic, process a still frame when you explicitly use Read or Describe.
Retention and security
We keep beta contact details only while needed to administer the beta and follow-up, or until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete them. AI still frames are not stored in the product database. Service providers may retain limited operational logs under their own security and retention policies.
Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive your personal data, object where applicable, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
